“Today I saw an elderly man fall in a crosswalk. So I jumped off my bike to help. As I helped him the light turned green. I then watched across a 6 lane street as someone stole my bike” Welcome to the wild, crazy and outrages world of FML.

FML is a website where people write disasters that have happened to them during the day, they range from the slight snigger, to the unforgettable stories that will have you and your mates howling with laughter, for hours on end.

Now we have FML for Iphone it even easier to cheer yourself up or just have a laugh wherever you are, without the need of a PC. The app is very well laid out, you have the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen with options to view the most recent stories uploaded,

the best of the day, week, month or of all time.

You also have a random option, which as you probably guessed picks a random story out from the huge archive, the favourites option and more, which when selected lets you submit story’s, view your account details, (if you sign up for one) There is also a unique moderate feature, under the “more” option in which it lets you view FML’S and decide whether or not they are suitable to be published.

Furthermore you can also view illustrated FML’S and view the developer’s blog, along with a few other things such as a help page and about the app.

Submitting your story is relatively easy you just put your name, match the picture to the category of your story, and write it, then hit submit and it’s been entered. *Please note not all FML’S do get published; only a select few do.”

Commenting on story’s couldn’t be easier just find the story click on it to view all previous written comments, then press the little button in the bottom right hand corner, type in your comment and press submit.

Overall
This app is a really fun new social networking expiernce, it makes you laugh, and you can communicate with others and share your stories to. There’s not just one way to post but you can post in different ways such as drawing, or typing. The app also works well, it isn’t a great idea with a crap developer, it’s a great idea with a developer who has clearly put his time & thought in to this application, on how it should work, look and feel.
Its good fun and I have personally never seen it been done before.

Oh and one other thing did I mention its Free!!

Tunein Radio Review

Tunein Radio

Price: £1.19 or $1.99
Key Features

•Listen to & record over 40,000 Radio stations.
•Alarm Clock Feature.
•Search for stations by Keyword. •Pause live streams for up to 30 minutes.
•Bookmark your favourite stations for even easier quicker access.
•Sleep timer.
•Browse stations by language, genre, or location.
•View station’s website & twitter
•Find the song currently playing on the station, and be able to buy straight from iTunes
•Listen in the background if your on iOS 4, this feature is also available to 3.1.3 as well via website stream.

Tunein Radio brings all your favourite radio stations AM/FM on your Iphone/Ipod touch; they are streamed via the internet and work over 3G and WI-FI.

Quality
The radio stations are streamed in superb quality. Quality that could match up to proper digital radios, there’s a few seconds delay at the start to connect, but after that you will forget it’s a internet radio.

User Interface
The app is very easy to use, you navigate your way around from the bar at the bottom. Searching for stations is also easy and you use the on screen keyboard to search for the station, either by location (if it’s a local station) artist (to find if a song by your favourite is being played on any stations at all) the name of the station, or genre (Rock, punk, indie, pop, etc). There are also pre loaded categories such as Sport, entertainment, music etc but you don’t really use them seeing as the search option is so good and quick.

Web Browser
The built in web browser is a very handy extra for those on older Iphones or Ipod touches that do not support multitasking, it is a very basic browser but still a nice added feature to the app.

There is also a option for people on older models to run the stations on their safari browser and use all the other apps, whilst listening to the station. If your on IOS 4 with multitasking its not necessary you can run the app in the background, with the station still playing.

When listing to the stations on the app you are also given very detailed info including what song is playing, the artist, the DJ hosting the show at the given time, and where you can buy the song,, this feature isn’t working on many stations just yet.

Recording stations is also a breeze just press the record button and it starts hit it again to stop, the recordings then appear in your recorded section on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, ready for instant playback whenever you like.

Overall
This app is simply brilliant, it records radio as well as letting you listen to digital & AM/FM stations live, whilst being able to use all your other Iphone applications at the same time, bundled with a whole load more features all for one cheap price. This is a must have for any Iphone/Ipod touch user.

Omegle Review

Omegle By Omegle

59p or 99cents

Key Features
•Connects to people on desktop version aswell as iPhone & IPod Touch users.

Omegle is a fun fresh way to meet people. Taken from the hit website comes the portable version, in which users are connected to a chat room, in which they can speak.

Is it easy to use?
This app is at times very awkward to use, as you find yourself scrolling up and down constantly trying to type but see what’s been written, and after a few minutes it can become rather annoying. Another major flaw is the lack of a landscape keyboard, this is a fatal feature in any chat type application for the Iphone, and is really disappointing to be not included here.

Speed
The app was very quick for me it got me in to a conversation in less than 2 seconds and receiving messages was also fairly quick. No major problems there.

Menu Screen is a simple one button and you jump straight in, not complicated at all.

Overall
A short lived app, entreating for a while but will quickly grow old, and all the minor faults just get on your nerves, leaving you to just give up on the app. There is also no video option for the iphone 4 like on the desktop version of Omegle another major let down.

Wrestling Online Review

Posted by Sean Walford on 02:29
Wrestling Online is your source for all things wrestling and UFC on the go.

Price: 59p

Features
•First wrestling news app to support in app video
•Add-free
•Offline reading
•Unread stories feature

Design
This app is very simple and cleverly laid out, you have a separate section for each product WWE, TNA, MMA, and a Video section, etc.

These are all easily accessed from the simple menu button at the bottom of the page.

You have a number next to each of those for the unread stories, which is very clever but basically shows they couldn't get push working properly. (When we contacted the website they said push will be out soon !!!)
Reading stories is very easily done, and each story is customized for your iPhone/iPod touch/IPad screen.

How up to date?
The app when compared to the pw torch app, is extremely slow at getting news up. Although it is normally on the same day it's not for another few hours till the story has been released, and by then you could have read on the pw torch app which is free!!
It also lacks any of the writers thoughts or opinions.

Video
This is a nice feature not seen on any apps of it's type before, but it still doesn't give the app that edge, as most of them are YouTube videos in which you could just search via your iPhone for if you where really bothered about viewing it. Although it's nice to have the links there for you.

Overall
This app has great potential to be amazing, it's just to slow and behind the rest of the world, however the video support really saves this app, but still doesn't give it enough, if you want quick on the go access to stories & videos this is for you. But we recommend you get the free Pw Torch app.

This app gets a out of 5

Minigore Review

Posted by Sean Walford on 02:08
Minigore

Price 59p or 99cents

Minigore takes cute & cuddly, characters gives them guns, and sticks them in a world full of man eating creatures.

Controls?
Minigore is simple, it's how long can you last killing the creatures as it grad-duly gets harder. You have two buttons one on each side of the screen, with one to move and one to fire.

Graphics
Graphics are superb in this game with lots of detail gone in, when shooting you can see the bullets been shot clearly , something we don't see enough in iPhone shooters.. Also the other creatures look great especially when there on fire.
Furthermore the surroundings and landscape looks great in a cartoon style.

Characters
This game has a beautiful selection of characters, which you unlock with more kills in the game. (a reason to keep playing)

There's many playable characters taken from other games, and some which you have to buy with real money, however these are fairly cheap.

All characters look great and a lot of work has gone into them looking good, but it's clearly paid off.

Future
Videos on there website showing a new Online & Offline multiplayer mode looks like a great addition to the game, something this app was crying out for. This also shows a game that's been out for a year and it's still being updated. A App with a very very good looking future.

Audio
Audio is brilliant on this game, when in game the characters make some hilarious comments.

Overall
This game is one of the best on the system out there, it's funny, got great graphics, easy controls, and all round fun. This app is a must have for any shooting fan.

Appzreviewed rating a must buy.

Stick Skater Review

Stick Skater

59p or 99cents

Key Features
•Simple Control System
•40 Unique Levels
•Grind on rails, benches, and sidewalks

Stick skater is a extremely addictive 2D skateboarding game. It involves you performing different tricks over many obstacles such as, rails, benches, patches of grass, and more.

Controls
This game has very simple, basic, controls, but with a few nice added touches make them feel fresh, slick and new.

You get 2 different options, basic & advanced. They both involve the push button, which makes you go faster. But the difference is the trick button, they both are the same shape and size, however the advanced version, you flick in different directions to do tricks.

The basic version you just press the button and it preforms trick for you.

Graphics
Graphics are fairly good, on the odd occasion the game will glitch and you cannot see the trick be preformed, but this doesn't happen very often.

To Short?
The Game comes with a mega 40 levels which for 99cents is superb, however the game flys bye. I have had the game for 2 weeks and played through it 3 times and halfway through my 4th. But it shows the addictive gameplay. The levels are very repetitive, there's 4 backgrounds and every level is just one of those picked with the objects either moved, changed and or made longer/shorter.

2 Player Mode
The game also packs in a 2 player mode, where you each get a chance to go on a run and get the most points in a certain amount. It's fun but short lived.

Overall
This game is fairly good, it's simple with nice graphics, it packs alot of things in for a very cheap price, however it does get boring and levels start to get repetitive, but it's not enough to keep you coming back for more!
